Types of Sessions

Almost any type of session can be tailored in content and suitability but detailed below are a few popular examples.

Corporate Activities

Forget virtual brain training, tackle Prof. Stephen Watson's 'Actual' reality challenge.

So you may have a management team you trust with millions on the stock market, or your employees may posses key skills or knowledge crucial to your companies success, but! Do they have the teamwork and determination to fold an eight foot castle from 54 sheets of paper 1mtr square and only five hours to do it in?

Careful planning, teamwork and coordination will ensure success. Oh, and a little fun too!

We have a wide range of projects to challenge the aptitude of your employees, whether it be imaginative, creative or intellectual.

School Origami

Children's favourites include penguins, swans, jumping frogs, noisy bangers and of course the best paper aeroplane in the world.

Youngsters benefit from hand eye co-ordination work and are keen to show others their new found skills. Origami promotes co-operation between children and a sense of well-being though positive achievement. Every child is guaranteed to succeed with their paper folding in these workshops.

Because there is no cutting, gluing or tearing there is no mess to clean up afterwards and the children can enjoy colouring their models and making stories based around their creations.

Groups, Clubs & Societies

From Brownies to Women's Institutes origami has no barriers!

Treat your organisation to an evening of paper folding. After a brief talk everyone gets a chance to have a go and make useful origami creations that they can take home and impress their friends and family with.

The session can be tailored to suit your evenings time scale and the groups age range and abilities, and with equipment available to assist those with age related disabilities, there are no excuses for not joining in!

Origami at Home

Origami is fast becoming a new form of evening activity at home that will be talked about for a long time afterwards.

Spread the cost by inviting your extended family round or a group of friends for an evening of enjoyable and practical folding. Gift boxes, flowers, napkins and various animals are just a few of the items you can choose to make from a vast selection of models.

All materials are supplied with additional tables and chairs if required.

Public Venues

Held at popular places such as visitor centres, open days and local parks, visitors can drop in and choose from a selection of models they would like to have a go at.

With purpose designed equipment to assist those with a disability, all ages and abilities have an opportunity to fold some paper into a variety of models which they can take away with them.

These workshops are free to the public but some venues may charge an entrance fee. Check the Events page to find the nearest venue.
